Perfect for every team

One tool for standups, classrooms, Q&A, and more

🏢

City & Council Meetings

Give residents a written way to ask officials questions, moderated before they're displayed publicly.

🗳️

Candidate & Policy Forums

Let attendees submit and upvote policy questions so the most-wanted topics get addressed first.

🏫

School Board & District Meetings

Collect parent and community questions in writing, with the option for anonymity on sensitive topics.

🏘️

HOA & Community Meetings

Keep large resident meetings organized with a single, moderated question queue instead of a free-for-all.

The Challenge

  • 1Open-mic Q&A at large public meetings is slow and often dominated by a few vocal attendees
  • 2Officials can't easily tell which questions represent the broader room versus one person's agenda
  • 3Sensitive or controversial questions often go unasked when attendees have to stand and speak publicly
  • 4There's rarely a clean record of what was asked and answered after a public meeting

Our Solution

  • 1Written submissions let every attendee ask without needing the mic or the floor
  • 2Upvoting surfaces the questions the room actually wants addressed, not just the loudest ones
  • 3Anonymous mode gives attendees a way to ask sensitive questions without being identified
  • 4The question queue remains available afterward for meeting minutes or follow-up

How it works

Get started in minutes

1

Create the session ahead of the meeting

Set up anonymity and sharing options before doors open, and generate your link and QR code.

2

Share the link with attendees

Display the QR code on screen, in the agenda, or on handouts so attendees can join from their own phones.

3

Moderate and display live

Review incoming questions, approve what's appropriate, and show the upvote-ranked queue on the meeting's main screen.

Everything you need

Written question submission from any device, no app required
Upvoting to rank questions by audience interest
Host moderation view - approve, hide, or mark questions answered
Host-configurable anonymity
Shareable link and QR code for the whole audience
Dedicated display view for the meeting's main screen

Why teams choose us

  • 1Run a more orderly public meeting without cutting off public input
  • 2Prioritize answers based on what the room actually upvotes, not who got to the mic first
  • 3Give residents a lower-friction, no-account way to participate
  • 4Keep moderation control so inappropriate submissions never reach the public display

Frequently asked questions

How many attendees can submit questions at once?
There's no artificial cap built into the page copy here - the session is a shared link anyone with it can join from their own device. For very large or mission-critical public meetings, test with your expected audience size ahead of time.
Can we moderate questions before they're visible to the room?
Yes. The host moderation view lets you approve, hide, or mark questions as answered before they appear on the public display.
Can attendees stay anonymous?
Yes, anonymity is a per-session setting the host controls. Many town halls use anonymous mode so residents will ask sensitive questions honestly.
How does upvoting help with a large crowd?
Instead of the loudest or first person setting the agenda, upvoting lets the whole room signal which questions matter most, so the moderator can prioritize accordingly.
Is this the same as ShuffleTurn's Q&A Queue Manager?
No. The Q&A Queue Manager manages a turn-order speaking line (who gets the mic next). Town Hall Q&A is for written, upvoted questions displayed on a screen - a different workflow for a different need.
