Perfect for every team

One tool for standups, classrooms, Q&A, and more

🏢

All-Hands & Leadership Q&A

Employees ask leadership tough questions without their name attached to it.

🏛️

Sensitive Town Halls

Public meetings on contentious topics where residents may not want to be identified.

🎓

Classrooms & Training

Students or trainees ask about concepts they're embarrassed to raise by hand.

💬

HR & Feedback Sessions

Collect honest questions or concerns in sessions where attribution could discourage participation.

The Challenge

  • 1People often hold back real questions when their name or face is attached
  • 2Raising a hand publicly discourages questions about sensitive or unpopular topics
  • 3Forced sign-up or account creation adds friction and can discourage anonymous participation entirely
  • 4Hosts need a way to still moderate content even when they can't see who sent it

Our Solution

  • 1Anonymity is a simple per-session toggle the host sets before opening the Q&A
  • 2No participant accounts means there's no sign-up barrier for anyone
  • 3Moderation (approve, hide, mark answered) works the same whether questions are named or anonymous
  • 4Upvoting still works on anonymous questions, so the audience can surface what matters

How it works

Get started in minutes

1

Create a session with anonymity on

When setting up your Live Q&A, choose anonymous mode so no names are attached to submitted questions.

2

Share the link

Attendees open the link on their own device and submit questions without logging in or creating an account.

3

Moderate and answer

Review the incoming queue, approve or hide questions, and display the upvote-ranked list without exposing who asked what.

Everything you need

Per-session anonymity toggle controlled by the host
No participant accounts or sign-up required
Upvoting works identically for anonymous and named questions
Full moderation (approve, hide, mark answered) regardless of anonymity setting
Shareable link and QR code to join
Dedicated display view for a shared screen or projector

Why teams choose us

  • 1Surface the questions people actually have, not just the ones they're comfortable attaching their name to
  • 2Lower the barrier to participation with zero sign-up for attendees
  • 3Keep moderation control even without knowing who submitted a question
  • 4Switch anonymity on or off per session depending on the audience and topic

Frequently asked questions

Is anonymity really guaranteed, or just hidden from other attendees?
When the host turns on anonymous mode, submitted questions are not shown with a name to anyone viewing the session, including the host's moderation view. In anonymous mode participants do not need an account, so there's no sign-up record tying a question to a person.
Can the host choose to show names instead?
Yes. Anonymity is a per-session setting the host picks when creating the Q&A - fully anonymous, or with display names shown. It's not forced either way.
Can anonymous questions still be upvoted?
Yes. Upvoting works the same way regardless of whether names are shown, so the audience can still surface the questions it cares about most.
Can the host still moderate anonymous questions?
Yes. The host can approve, hide, or mark anonymous questions as answered just like named ones - moderation and anonymity are independent settings.
Why would I want anonymous Q&A instead of named?
Anonymity tends to surface more honest questions in settings like all-hands meetings, sensitive town halls, classroom feedback, or anywhere people might otherwise self-censor.
